The loading of OPSS java security policy provider failed due to exception

    881551
      Hi,

The issue is execution of startWebLogic.cmd failed, once shutting down the system and restarting it.At first time, after the installation ,it worked and I was able to log in to web logic server.I also created boot.properties file with user name and password for web logic server in user_projects/domains/UCM_domain/server/admin server/security folder.
The operating system is windows xp, with 32 bit, oracle web logic version 11g, and UCM version 11.1.1.4.0.
      the error log is:

weblogic.security.SecurityInitializationException: The loading of OPSS java security policy provider failed due to exception, see the exception stack trace or the server log file for root cause. If still see no obvious cause, enable the debug flag -Djava.security.debug=jpspolicy to get more information. What you can try to do is delete the LDAP files. These are located in the <domain-home>\servers\<server-name>\data\ldap directory

When the adminserver is started, these files will be generated again.

              Hi
the error is resolved, what we done is that
in the folder of C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\UCM_domain\config\fmwconfig open cwallet.sso, go to properties of it and then security.Enable full control, modify,Read and execute, read and write permissions for the current user and apply it.

the cause of this issue is:

The installation had been performed as one MS Windows user. But the re-start of Services was being performed as a different MS Windows user which does not have the required permissions on the MW_HOME\user_projects\domains\bifoundation_domain\config\fmwconfig\bootstrap\cwallet.sso file.

Just a minor remark on the last update.

the cwallet.sso file on which Security need to be setup is the one under MW_HOME\user_projects\domains\bifoundation_domain\config\fmwconfig\bootstrap\ directory

                  Thanks!!

                    Hi Guys,

I am installing BI Publisher (BIEE and Publisher ) on Oracle Linux and get the same error.

I change permission of the file and even to the hole fmwconfig\bootstrap\ directory to 777 but without success

NB: The installation of BI install a Domain on an existing Weblogic installation.

                    any idea ?
