You'd need to GRANT DBA TO MYSCH

I did this last time. I've just re-granted to it again but I still have got the same.

You're giving me one big list. But I need the exact resolution!

Tom shows GRANT DBA is the solution

I believe that Tom reports reality better than you.

use COPY & PASTE to show us all that you do & how Oracle responds

I used sys to grant sysdba to mysch with success! Here are what I've got

                      [oracle@localhost bin]$ imp 'mysch\/mysch@xe as mysch' file=/usr/share/mysch.dmp full=y

LRM-00108: invalid positional parameter value 'as'

IMP-00022: failed to process parameters, type 'IMP HELP=Y' for help

                      IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully

                      [oracle@localhost bin]$ imp "mysch\/mysch@xe as mysch" file=/usr/share/mysch.dmp full=y

LRM-00108: invalid positional parameter value 'as'

IMP-00022: failed to process parameters, type 'IMP HELP=Y' for help

                      IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully

                      [oracle@localhost bin]$

                      [oracle@localhost ~]$ imp mysch/mysch@xe file=/usr/share/mysch.dmp full=y

SYSDBA is NOT the same as DBA.
