I upgraded again to the latest OEPE and I included Oracle Coherence Tools in addition to Oracle Weblogic Scripting Tools and Oracle Weblogic Server Tools. I can publish to my local Weblogic 10.3.3 just fine now. Thanks for your suggestion. However, I really don't want to install more than I need from OEPE because I just want to be able to publish to Weblogic so ideally I'd like to avoid install even Coherence Tools. This used to work fine for my team by just installing the Weblogic Server Tools package from Eclipse Marketplace. Is this something that will be fixed, or is the plan to include Coherence Tools in the Weblogic Server Tools package?
Thanks for the confirmation of the workaround. The immediate plan is to ensure that all dependencies are correctly declared. Beyond that, either Coherence Tools or WebLogic Server Tools will require the other. I don't know yet which way it will end up being, but I don't see creating an extra feature just to hold the integration between the two toolsets as that will adversely impact usability.
I was trying to install WLS on my windows 32bit machine but when I clicked on the executable file oepe-18.104.22.168-kepler-installer-win32 I got pop up error stating "CMD property not found in the autorun.inf" .Can someone help me out here .I am not sure about the error.
Its bit urgent Please someone let me know how can I get rid of that.
I tried the same installer on a 32bit machine and was able to run without any issues.
I did however come across a few users jdeveloper users who had similar issues with the jdev installer and the following workaround seems to have solved the issue for them. coudl you try the same and let us know if that helped ?
1. Extract "oepe-22.214.171.124-kepler-installer-win32.exe" file into C:\oepe-126.96.36.199-kepler-installer-win32
2. In cmd go to C:\oepe-188.8.131.52-kepler-installer-win32
3. Execute follow command:
C:\PROGRA~1\Java\jdk1.6.0_31\bin\java.exe ( path to your JDK) -jar install/modules/ora-launcher.jar DISKCNT=1 JRE_COMPONENT=oracle.jdk,oracle.jre
