Due to maintenance of our IT infrastructure we need to perform a clean shutdown of our 2-node RAC.
To be sure, I 'd like to ask if these steps are in the correct order:
Oracle 11gR2 Grid Infrastructure on Redhat Linux 5 Enterprise 64 bit
1. srvctl stop database -d ...
2. srvctl stop service -s ...
3. crsctl stop crs (or crsctl stop -all)
as root user.
.. and for starting up again
1. crsctl start -all
2. srvctl start service -s
3. srvctl start database -d
Thanks for your feedback!
