    EJB Timer solution

    Bruno Condemi

      Dear all,

I'm work gin with EJB 3 timer api.

I'm building a generic scheduler of java objects.

      This is the use case:

User need do schedule a specific action; He decide the the scheduler expression and the java class that implements the action required, then set the action as active.

I know how to use programmatic timer but each time a user need to schedule a new action a need to create a new EJB (and hold a reference in order to manage it from a Web GUI).

May be my design is wrong so let me know your opinions.

      Thanks in advance.
