"Bad applet class name" exception when trying to record functional EBS/Forms test with Oracle Open Script 12.2.0.1 in JRE 1.6.0_45

    User572048-OC

      Hi,

I have an issue when trying to record functional EBS/Forms test with OpenScript in 12.2.0.1 and also 12.1.0.2 version.

The problem was checked in two environments:

      1. Windows XP 32-bit, Internet Explorer 7, JRE 1.6.0_45.

      2. Windows 7 32-bit, Internet Explorer 8, JRE 1.6.0_45.

The exception I can see in Java Console is:

      ...

      SSV dialog is suppressed

Loading Oracle ATS Forms Functional Testing Module[5.5] [Oracle JRE_1.6.0_45]

      ....

I think I've already tried all possible combinations with OpenScript's options and preferences.

I've also reinstalled JRE several times.

What is interesting is that everything works fine when I'm using JRE 1.6.0_38. However all version up to this one are giving me the exception above.

Could you please give me some hints, what else I can do or check? Or maybe you can provide me some information about things which have changed in JRE 1.6 since update 38 that can have impact on loading java applets by OpenScript?

All I could find in release notes was that some security issues were repaired.

Thank you in advance for any help.
