    How to change the default JRockit to JDK7?

    user8058501

      Hi,

      I have a default WebLogic 12c installation with JRockit.

      I also have a domain with it.

      There is no deployed application yet.

      How can I change the default JAVA_HOME of JRockit to JDK 7?

      Kind Regards.

          Please check the next Metalink Note: How To Change The JDK Type (Sun / JRockit) or JDK Version for a Given FMW 11g Domain (Doc ID 1058804.1)

          I pasted a little information:

          Edit the file ,change the JAVA_HOME and add the JAVA_VENDOR in the following section:

          # We need to reset the value of JAVA_HOME to get it shortened AND

          # we can not shorten it above because immediate variable expansion will blank it

          JAVA_HOME="${JAVA_HOME}"

          export JAVA_HOME

          replace it by:

          # We need to reset the value of JAVA_HOME to get it shortened AND

          # we can not shorten it above because immediate variable expansion will blank it

          JAVA_HOME="<path to the new JDK"

          JAVA_VENDOR=<new Java vendor>

          export JAVA_HOME

          Example:

          You want to change your JDK version from Sun JDK 1.6.0_21 to JRockit 1.6.0_31 and the JRockit 1.6.0_31 version has been installed at /oracle/SOA/jrockit_28.1. The section in setDomainEnv.sh should look like that after the change:

          JAVA_HOME="/oracle/SOA/jrockit_28.1"

          JAVA_VENDOR="Oracle"

          export JAVA_HOME

          export JAVA_VENDOR
