It is unfortunately not possible to test AutoVue 2D Professional using a 30 days trial version, only the Electro-Mechanical Professional version is available here:
But it is important to note that the feature will work the same way when using AutoVue 2D Professional so you can use Electro-Mechanical Professional for your testing and consider that the results are going to be the same in the 2D version.
We need to see the difference between the two versions that is why require a trial version of 2D.
There is a huge price difference in 2D and electromechanical so the users are a bit apprehensive about what features they will loose if we go ahaed with 2D.Although I must confirm the only required feature is searching a word in the drawing but they want to try it and out and confirm by themselevs before buying 4 new licenses.
Can you please provide us the test version or atleast some snap shots or a presentation on this toned down version of electromechanical
We do not mind if the test version is also valid for a day or two.
The difference between AutoVue Electro-Mechanical Professional and AutoVue 2D Professional is related to file formats supported and functionality which are related to those formats. For example when using Electro-Mechanical you can view all the formats supported by AutoVue (Office, 2D, 3D and EDA formats). When you are using AutoVue 2D you can only view Office and 2D formats. This is the main difference. Now if a functionality exist in Electro-Mechanical related to either Office or 2D formats the same functionality is exactly the same in AutoVue 2D. In your case if all you need to do is view Word documents and search for text you should definitely purchase AutoVue 2D Professional and you will be able to do it the same way you do it with Electro-Mechanical. If you want screenshots from AutoVue 2D Professional you can send me a mail to email@example.com and I can send you the screenshots but you will see the feature is exactly the same.
