I did try that with -m DCS option and its giving me DB errors , however the command also accepts -s (servername which in my case is ATGPublishing as in my earlier post)

Not sure why its looking for mysql Driver?

Also can you provide your email so the communications can be faster in related to this issue.

    Thanks

What modules did you specify when you built the ATGPublishing server?  My guess is that DCS was not included.  If it was, you wouldn't have gotten the message saying ProductCatalog could not be resolved.

As for the mysql driver, that's part of the default configuration for /atg/dynamo/service/jdbc/FakeXADataSource.  ATG's command line utilities like startSQLRepository and generateXMLSchema make database connections using FakeXADataSource rather than using the DirectJTDataSource component and the jndi data sources you've configured for whatever application server you're using.  To get past this mysql driver error, you'll need to configure FakeXADataSource for your dbms driver and make sure your config layer is available when your run generateXMLSchema.  I know there have been some Forum threads about configuring data sources for use by the command line utilities.  I don't know how to find the threads to provide you with a link.

I prefer to keep conversations like this in their Forum threads.  It benefits you because other people, including me, aren't always available to respond to private emails in a timely fashion.  It benefits everyone else because they get to see solutions to problems they may encounter.

I definitely have DCS module as part of my ATGPublishing Server, this is the default configuration and instance which i have setup as per the manuals of ATG10.1.2 setup.

Not sure if anything got changed with 10.1.2 and i tried putting the jdbc driver in the classpath and still getting the same classnotfound for both generateXMLSchema and startSQLRepository

    startSQLRepository -m DCS -repository /atg/commerce/catalog/ProductCatalog -outputSQLFile c:\test.sql

generateXMLSchema -m DCS -repository /atg/commerce/catalog/ProductCatalog -itemDescriptor sku -outputDirectory .

Only reason i asked for the email so i can chat you on a messenger to get quicker responses and i can definitely add back the solution and experiences after the issue is resolved to the forum.

    Thanks

I was able to get away with the errors related to JTDatasource and was successfully able to create schema.

However had the question, has anyone successfully able to use Repository Loader to import data which needs versioning and also which has inter dependencies of a multiple item types

    ex:

Lets say am extending media-external and it has reference to parenFolder which is of item-type folder.

currently when i create a job from RL and try to load an xml which follows the schema as defined gives me errors releated to versioning table (non null constraints)
