That is the best way to call a report from pl/sql.
Hi, thanks for your reply! Could you tell me how to use that in PL/SQL? I just found somebody mention it, but I couldn't find it in the Database, and don't know how to use it in my procedure.
You may have to install the srw package first. Then it is pretty simple. Just follow the instructions in the Oracle documentation:

ORA-20212: ORA-06512: at "SRW", line 622 ORA-29273: HTTP request failed ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP", line 1674 ORA-29259: end-of-input reached.
I used the same code to generate reports for different customers, 9 of them were OK, only one which has the most data failed and got that exception. And I checked the report sever later, the report was generated successfully just several minutes after returning that exception..(just 180KB, PDF format, took about 11 minutes) Do you have any idea about this exception? Many thanks...
