    start the media recovery and it should be in sync provided all the primary archive logs are available since the last applied log.

    Restart the Primary and the Standby and let Oracle DataGuard "auto-catchup".

    Media recovery is not running in your standby database.

    You need start MRP in standby as follows:

    SQL> alter database recover managed standby database disconnect;

    how to make sure that i configured perfect active dataguard ,

    i guess it was perfect because whatever i make changes , like create table in primary database , in next second it was reflected in standby read only database.

    What the following query says now?

    SQL>select  PROCESS,PID,STATUS,THREAD#,SEQUENCE# from v$MANAGED_STANDBY;

    Also, could you paste the alert log entries from primary and standby database

    To be sure that active guard is running, you must only report the value of OPEN_MODE from V$DATABASE on STANDBY DATABASE

    which sould be READ ONLY WITH APPLY

    As per the logs, listener is not running.

    Make sure listener is running on both primary and standby servers. Also make sure remote connectivity is working fine for both the databases.
