    How to check Remote Connectivity ?

    ---Primary DB---

    after that i bounce both database and put some commands --

    is there any error logged in the alert log files(primary/standby) ?

    alert logs are there after starting listener and bouncing database , cant diagnose exact error ,

    thanks for the link , but my open_mode of standby DB was READ ONLY WITH APPLY .it means it was correctly configured

    You'd have to wait for the standby to catch-up to the primary.

    Have you confirmed the listeners are running on both the primary and the standby ?

     

    Can you query V$ARCHIVE_GAP  on the Standby ?

    its been running since 3-4 hours ,

    yes confirmed both listeners are running sucessfully as shown above posts

     

    SQL> SELECT * FROM V$ARCHIVE_GAP;

     

    no rows selected

     

    .want to mention that my Database Version is 12c
