Please check the installation log files for details about the error.

Similar issue is reported in (Rapidwiz 12.1.1 Fails To Execute Ouicli.Pl During Apps 10.1.3 Techstack Autoconfig [ID 1328464.1]) so please review the doc and see if it helps.

                Hello Hussein,

I commented clone ouicli.pl 700 in file regclone.drv  and deleted ( " ) at run_process row and the process goes.

You have the right and based to specified doc I have installed before the oracle software, and now I am in testing env. I'll be back once again and follow doc.

                Thank you

I wouldn't do that myself .. Curious what would be the outcome of the testing

                        Thanks Hussein for reply.

Based to doc I should ignore this error, and to proceed to next step 8 doc E18727_01.

Can I ask you is there any way to create manually the listener and tns names for apps prod, before I proceed to step 9.

The files should be there when you installed R12 and you don't need to create them manually -- You should be able to connect to the 11i database from R12 file system when you source R12 application env file.

I have installed db 11gr1 and I have lay down file system ebs 12.1.1 on that machine, the listener.ora file is not created on C:\Oracle\PROD\inst\apps\PROD_wk8ebs\ora\10.1.2\network\admin

                            Any sug please.

                              Hi Cea,

Why do you need the application listener at this stage? You only need tnsnames.ora file to connect to the database from the application tier node.

Any missing files will be created next time you run Rapid Install (which has to be done after applying the upgrade driver).

                              Thanks,

                              Hussein

                                Hi Hussein,

I think the listener and tnsnames files should exist when lay down file system (in my case the service for apps_prod is created but it's not up), I will continue by executing the patch upgrade driver based to doc E18727_01 step 9.

                                Thanks a lot.

You don't need the application listener for now and as I mentioned above, this file will be created for you when you run AutoConfig (Rapid Install) after the upgrade.

                                  Thanks,
