Try putting a command button on your dashboard and put this code in the script section for the OnClick event:
ActiveDocument.Sections["Your Report Name"].Export();
When I use this, the datatype default value is Excel.
Let me know what happens.....good luck
Try using the dashboard as a user interface to display a report. You can have controls on the dashboard that filter the queries, results and tables that feed the report. You can even include your selections in the report header or footer as query or result filters or by updating the textlabels through scripting. You should be able to export the report to anything you want. I usually use a button on the dashboard to do this.
If this capability isn't in your product, it may be because you are using an older version. What version are you using?
Oracle Enterprise Performance Management system workspace fusion edition,11 version.
I am working on Oracle Enterprise Performance Management system workspace fusion edition (Hyperion Interactive Reporting Web Client,11 version), i want to export(data) dashboard section to excel format, how can i do it.
dashboard sections cannot be exported to Excel.
the sections that are embedded can be either as individual excel files or combined into 1 excel workbook with a worksheet per section. review
Or you could create a report section that looks similar to your dashboard then export it as MHTML. unfortunately you do not get objects to align side by side
