I have a SQL like
It will be like a report. So i get the links for EDIT and DELETE for each row.
When I click EDIT, i have requirements specific for each type. For example, for type=1 then i may need to go for page 2, if it is type=2 then I need to go for page 3.
. At present , When I click on Edit link, I am going to page 2.Because I derived the condition for the "Column Link" Section as
Target=Page in this Application and Page=2
But due to my specific requirements I need to go to seperate page numbers as i mentioned.
[ For example, for type=1 then i may need to go for page 2, if it is type=2 then I need to go for page 3.I have in total 8 types.]
Please advise on how to achieve this.
Add another column in your query to derive target_page dynamically. Set this column as "Hidden" or "Not to display"
SELECT TYPE, ID, "NULL" Edit, "NULL" Delete, CASE WHEN TYPE = 1 THEN 2 WHEN TYPE = 2 THEN 3 ELSE 4 END target_page FROM Table1;
Specifiying "page" as #TARGET_PAGE# in "Column Attributes -> Link" section.
Hope it helps.
