Oracle SQL doesn't recognize HTML/CSS/Color codes so point to have conditional formatting in direct DB request
create an opaque view based on sql and model in rpd as below
Thanks All for all the suggestions.
I am not familiar with scripting. If possible can you send me any sample script to use.? I have a column which displays %. I have to show it in yellow if it is between 0-33 and rest in red. And that report is based on direct database request.So, for that purpose I want to use the conditional formatting , but since this is not possible .
Any work around to achieve this.
Ok the requirement is I have students in every section. I need to compare the pass and Fail %. I have written a sql to calculate that, since it is direct database request. So now the pass and fail % between 0-33 should be yellow and rest in red.
Any sample script would be very helpful.
Okay mean time try this
Looks like you are talking about one of your post to see the graph
Try to write html code, use table with 2 columns, the width for each column go by your percentage and set each column Yellow and Red finally set HTML for data type
Thanks == No more responses, I assume you got answer.
Use the below code as any of column's fx then set data format as HTML
'<html> <body> <table border="0"> <tr> <td width='|| REPLACE(cast(Metric1 as char)||'%', ' ', '')||' bgcolor=red>Fail</td> <td width='|| REPLACE(cast(Metric2 as char)||'%', ' ', '')||' bgcolor=green>Pass</td> </tr> </table> </body> </html>'
Replace Metric1 and Metric2 with Actual columns
