Hyperion Smart View Error 11.1.2.2

Hi,

We are using Hyperion Smart View version 11.1.2.2 (We are using the Smartview from the Client Machine)  and when I click on shared connections and enter USER ID and Password it gives the error saying "The request timed out. contact your administrator to increase netretrycountCount and netretryinterval"

I have also followed the below steps but of no use  and still getting the same error.

On the client machine, update/add the following registry keys:

1. Open the Registry, Start -> Run -> Regedit.

2. Locate the following section:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings] with

ReceiveTimeout=480000

KeepAliveTimeout=180000

ServerInfoTimeout=180000

Locate

the following section: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\

Services\TCPIP\Parameters\

TcpTimedWaitDelay and set it to 3000

MaxUserPort should be set to 65534

and rebooted my machine after making the changes.

I have also checked the log file (apsserver.log) at C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\Epmsystem1\servers\AnalyticProviderServices0\logs but nothing is written in the log file...

I have also checked the Essbase.log and it only says Connected from [Sever Name]

I have also done the below

C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\httpConfig\ohs\config\OHS\ohs_component

Open the httpd.conf file and i have modified the below settings
Timeout 6000
KeepAliveTimeout 150

I have also done this

In essbase.properties file Change this:  (Path of the File C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\aps\bin)
olap.server.netSocketTimeOut=2000

smartview.webservice.gzip.compression.disable=false

I have also done this

In essbase.cfg with the following

NETDELAY 1600

NETRETRY COUNT 600

NETCONNECTRETRY 30

NETSOCKETTIMEOUT 20000

Nothing above helped me in resolving the issue.... Can anyone help me out.. you can see the screenshot of the error at my blog http://hyperion-consulting.blogspot.com

Regards,

AS

    Hi,

    The Issue got resolved after making the below changes.

    The following client side registry keys need to be

    ADDED:

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet

    Settings]\

    "ReceiveTimeout"=dword:00dbba00

    "KeepAliveTimeout"=dword:00180000

    "ServerInfoTimeout"=dword:00180000

    Once

    making the changes, it is recommended to reboot the client’s machine.
