You can try to short-circuit JSF lifecycle with:
I need LOV popup,but not for all the condition.The code I have provided is the sample one to check whether the LOV popup is restricted by this code or not, but this code still displaying the popup. I want to know what is going wrong on my part.
You have given the workaround solution that used to restrict LOV popup display. I have tested the code and its working, but my question is why the default framework provided method is not working.
Well, this doesn't work if you click on lov icon(it probably should, but it doesn't).
