Hi Kobe,1 person found this helpful
Check this post/doc iBot scheduling after ETL load
Is it something you want to run ibots right after etl load? in that case you can use BI itself, but agent run depends on ETL load status. Using W_ETL_RUN_S table as agent condition.
Let me know updates
If helps pls mark :)
Hi veeravalli ,
Yeah, Customers want to invoke the OBIEE 11g agent through ETL tools.
So how to use Using W_ETL_RUN_S table , where is it?
You can find this table in OOB data warehouse schema, just import into physical layer and start use this as conditional (Status=completed and for current date)for those agents.
Hope this helps
Hi veeravalli ,
I am sorry,I am new OBIEE developer .Could you please explain more cleanly?
I have searched the installed OBIEE database, but I do not find the 'W_ETL_RUN_S' table.
If you are using Informatica for your BI Apps modules can have it in warehouse database.
search entire db with tname like 'W_ETL%'
If you dont have it then you have to go for any alternative.
Our ETL tool is DataStage, not Informatica.
Is there any other table?
oh... based on your post I thought you are using Informatica.1 person found this helpful
I dont know DS, the Key is let to know to BI about that the load is completed and send agent.
You can go for any kind of approach.
Or else go with given command.
Hope this helps, if does pls mark ;)
There is S_NQ_JOB table in DEV_BIPLATFORM schema which stores the information for each agent and its next runtime in NEXT_RUNTIME_TS column.1 person found this helpful
You can create a datastage mapping to update this table or insert a new record for your Agent and set the next run time as desired. Schedule this DS mapping at the end of the ETL load.

did it work for you? I tried to update the datetime od NEXT_RUNTIME_TS but the agent did not run at all.
Also tried to delete instances from S_NQ_INSTANCE, no result.
Am i missing something?
Thx for help
