what is the best way to do it ?
Which metric measures best?
Is best solution the one which requires the fewest keystrokes?
How do I ask a question on the forums?
Your best choices depend on many factors which you have not posted information for, but likely come down to rman duplicate or transportable tablespaces. These would be options if you do not need to reconfigure the tablespace/file database layout or change database software versions as part of the move.
The export/import process is always an option.even with 3T. Some tables could potentially be moved early and multi[ple export/import processes could be used to move multiple objects at the same time. If you need to change the tablespace/file relationship and move some Oracle objects around as part of the move then this path may be your best option. The main problem is the time this approach takes compared to just copying the files which the first two options above are close to being.
Then you have OGG and/or regular replication techniques you can potentially make use of.
