As my understand, DBA needs to run below command
ALTER TABLESPACE test ADD DATAFILE;
OMF doesn't automatically add a new datafile. You have to explicitly add a new datafile with the ALTER TABLESPACE tbsname ADD DATAFILE command.
What OMF does is to provide a Unique Name and a Default Size (100MB) to the datafile. That is why the ALTER TABLESPACE .. ADD DATAFILE command that you run does not need to specify filename or filesize.
