Hit the AssetType with SimpleQuery(AssetType,Condition,AttributesList) ,
The condition should be , createCondition(AssetEndDate, OpTypeEnum.EQUALS, DateValue(Pass your particular Date) )
It will fetch the assets as you desired.

I would also like to know , is there any way by which i can hit all the asset types which are about to expire without hardcoding a particular assettype in the simplequery() constructor ?
Add your all AssetTypes to an ArrayList, make it string generic , iterate the list , place the query in loop , replace the Hardcoded AssetType with List.get(index) , add the final values to a list(desired results)
