If you are referring to CRM 8.8, this is controlled by Component Event Processing Workflow Url checkbox.

URL For email notifications, select to include a link to the component where
the event occurred. Worklist notifications always include a link, so this
check box has no effect for worklist notifications
If you are referring to CRM 8.9 and higher, this is controlled by Active Analytic Framework Send Url checkbox.

Configuring Workflow Actions
Select to include the URL of the corresponding transaction to the email or worklist notification.
Some features, such as task management, use their own mechanism to embed the transaction URL in workflow notification. In the case of task management, the URL is represented by a term in the workflow templates for task management. Clear this check box if you are configuring the notification and workflow action for policies that pertain to these features.
As you pointed out in your mail you tried setting SEND_URL to N through the back end.
CRM AAF uses rowsetcache to load AAF configuration in memory and back end modifications are not reflected in the cache.

You can run the Maintain Cache Program to load the latest configuration from the database using following navigation:
Enterprise Components -> AAF->Setup->Maintain Cache
Sorry for the confusion. I was selecting (not updating) a row backend for the row which has a SEND_URL that has a value equals to N. Currently all rows are N, and there is nothing setup where SEND_URL is equals to Y. I will try the Maintain Cache solution you have provided.

We have tried to use the Maintain Cache, Deleted the server cache and bounced the application and web servers, and we are still having the URLs attached in the emails.
Is it correct that the record/table for the AAF setup is PS_RB_AAF_WRKFLOW? Because if it is, we tried to use this statement
select * from ps_rb_aaf_wrkflow where send_url='Y'; This should return a row if there are Policies where the Send URL is checked. However, when this is executed, no rows are retrieved, which means all Notifications Setup in the Policies are unchecked in the page.
