Actually no, I don't have sysdba's password. But I can log as administrator into windows machine where Oracle server is installed. So how do I restore password of regular user USER001 in this situation? Is it possible at all?
Are you able to log in as a Windows user that is in the ORA_DBA group? If so, you should be able to connect as SYS without a password. From a command line, can you
sqlplus / as sysdba
If you can do that, you can reset whatever passwords you would like.
