    weblogic server not starting

      Hi All,

       

         I am new to Fusion middle-ware, and installed the WebLogic Server 10.3.5.0, SOA suite 11.1.1.6.0. The problem i am facing here is the weblogic server is throwing the below error and its not starting at all. Please help me, if i did anything wrong during installation

          Caused By: oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLParseException: Element 'socketOptions' not expected.

          Caused By: oracle.security.jps.service.igf.IGFException: JPS-02592: Failed to push ldap config data to libOvd for service instance "idstore.ldap" in JPS context "default", cause: oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLParseException: Element 'socketOptions' not expected.


          Did the installation complete successfully? any errors in the installation log files?

            Is your problem solved ????????

            Actually I am receiving the same exception but for OAM Managed Server2 as OAM is installed in High-availability in UNIX box.

            My OAM managed server 1 is running well and when I pack and unpack jar and start managed server2 I m receiving this exception.

            And I have packed and unpacked jar several time  for confirmation but end up with same exception.

            Please Help.

                Hi

                Suppose you have different filesystems for managed an Admin Server, you should compare your jps-config.xml. Seems that they are not equal.
