If you have an account with Oracle MOS portal then raise a non-technical request for the Hyperion 8.5 installation files.
Why would you want to upgrade from Brio 6? That version was awesome. Your best option is probably a new System 11 installation and treat it like a new deployment. You'll be in for a major headache if you do a Brio 6 > Hyperion 8 > Oracle 11 migration path...
To answer your question - you need to login to your My Oracle Support page and request them to provide you with the Hyperion 8.5 install files. Oracle will make the legacy software available for you to download and give you like 7 days to retrieve the files.
I hear you. I love 6.6, easy to understand, etc, etc......I use BRIO Intelligence Server 6.6, Have about 150 or so Jobs set up. and it's been running on a XP Desktop for about 11 years!!! Sooooo cheap!! Want to head off a catastrophe. Maybe it's me, but the Concepts from 9 to 11 are just not clear. Any suggestions?

I would suggest installing System 11 on a standalone server/workstation, and do the migration manually. You can run both environments (Your current Brio 6.6 and the new System 11 instance) simultaneously for parallel testing. When you are comfortable with the new System 11 instance you can flip-the-switch so to speak and turn off the legacy instance.
Thanks for the suggestion...I was heading that way, Sooooo pls clear something up for me..... I can do Oracle Hyperion IR Studio for my .bqy docs, But What is the scheduling, running jobs, sending out files, reports and all that >>>Brio Intellegence Server = ????? in V11???? Id there a quick this = that anywhere ???
Any Hints appreciated.....Jim
The Scheduling, Jobs, and distribution is handled within Hyperion Workspace. Check out the Reporting and Analysis Framework documentation as well as the Interactive Reporting Admin Guide. (All the system documentation for all versions is here:)
