I am an Oracle DBA with specialization in Performance Tuning. Now I shifted towards IT capacity planning. In order to do end-2-end capacity planning/performance tuning for enterprises, I think it's a good idea to learn Oracle Weblogic and probably do OCP certification also.
Could you please suggest me learning path (topics to be covered in sequence), estimated time-frame and some good references (books etc. other than documentation library and Oracle courses). I want to gain good understanding on overall architecture, deployment, system administration and special focus on performance tuning and monitoring aspects.
On application servers, I know bit about Oracle application server (iAS), but since weblogic is more popular in market, I think i should go for it.

start is learning the Java programming language:
