    crontab being overwritten

    user7222768

We installed Oracle Linux release 6 update 2 for X86_64 on a virtual machine. Periodically, the crontab seems to get overwritten by some process. Lines added to the end disappear. If the lines are added to the top, they stay. Also, the system level entries seem to get added as well. The following entries are showing up now in the root crontab. It had started with 2 entries, now there are 6.  What causes this?

      1 1 10 * * ~/.sysdbs

      1 1 10 * * /tmp/.sysdb

      1 1 24 * * perl ~/.sysync.pl

      1 1 24 * * perl /tmp/.syssync.pl

      1 1 24 * * perl ~/.sysync.pl

      1 1 10 * * ~/.sysdbs
