From that page to "developers can download from" and then click "previous releases".
Does that include the critical updates patches? I already have Java 6 Update 45 but then a critical patch update came out in June. I only found downloads for jre6u45.
I'm not a sir (I mean, I'm not anything so exalted), and this is just a forum, I'm just someone like you.
6u45 was the last public update: Where can I get the latest version of Java 6? If you want later critical patches, you either have to pay for them or move to Java 7.
I know its a forum, but it's something that I was brought up with and is ingrained into me. Can't really help it.
Would it be like a support contract or do we have to pay for the patches individually or what? I will have to go through some channels to figure out if we have a support contract or something, but thank you for your assistance.
Don't really know. I assume you purchase extended support and then you can download all the non-public Java 6 versions which will have the latest CPUs included.
Maybe an Oracle person will read this thread and give a proper answer.
There is a price list, if you start at Oracle Java SE Support | Technologies then go to the support FAQ, then go to the global price list.
