I have the following test Oracle Database:
SQL*Plus: Release 184.108.40.206.0 Production on Tue Sep 10 12:59:28 2013
Copyright (c) 1982, 2011, Oracle. All rights reserved.
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 220.127.116.11.0 - 64bit Production
With the Partitioning, OLAP, Data Mining and Real Application Testing options
running in non-Archivelog mode.
I'm getting the following error in the alert log:
Thread 1 cannot allocate new log, sequence 58715
Private strand flush not complete
By searching on the Internet it seems an error linked to too-full datafile, but there is still space:
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
26G 12G 12G 50% /
tmpfs 6.0G 2.1G 4.0G 34% /dev/shm
/dev/sda1 485M 99M 362M 22% /boot
/dev/sdb1 9.9G 151M 9.2G 2% /tevodb/log
/dev/sdc1 9.9G 5.6G 3.9G 60% /tevodw/log
/dev/sdd1 197G 134G 54G 72% /tevodb/data
/dev/sde1 197G 128G 60G 69% /tevodw/data
/dev/sdf1 197G 113G 75G 61% /tevodf/data
Could anyone help me understanding what it means?
