Lets say the user is opening page 1 which is a search screen.
So when opening a page specify the option to clear page cache from url you are using to call the search screen.
the customer is aware of changing it for one screen, isn't there a general setting?
How are you calling the search screen.
Can you please tell me, how the search screen is getting invoked.
They now how to change the behaviour per screen, but would like to know how to change this for all screens at once/
What page attribute you referring?
Maybe you check application security attributes
Ramesh / Jari
Customer now uses calls like this:
So there is no clear cache attribute. The customer doesn't want to change the call to the screen, but is looking for a general parameter to set, so the cache will be cleared automatically
You could always create an application process so it runs on each page as the first process. In it you can use http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37097_01/doc/doc.42/e35127/apex_util.htm#BABCIAFJ
APEX_UTIL.CLEAR_PAGE_CACHE ( p_page IN NUMBER DEFAULT NULL);
Just pass APP_PAGE_ID to p_page.
That means a cache clear on every visit to the page of course (even within the same session).
There are two ways.
Changing the url
If you loo at the end, there is an option to clear page cache.
As you are going to page 6, I have put 6 to clear the cache.
Or you can run this code on page 6 on load before header conditionally.
APEX_UTIL.CLEAR_PAGE_CACHE ( p_page => 6);
