Db version: Oracle 11g
Just wondering if Oracle has any package (inbuilt) that can create xml file based on an .xsd file. I searched but could not find any resource on the internet specific to my issue. Lets say I have a .xsd file. Is it possible to load it to a schema and generate the xml file which conform to the .xsd file using sql? If yes, i would like to store it to a CLOB variable.
Please point me to the right direction.
No, there's no such functionality yet.
You have to build the XML "manually" as per the XSD, for example using SQL/XML functions (XMLElement, XMLAgg, XMLAttributes, etc.).
