I would suggest you submit an SR to Oracle to get help with this, if you have not done so already.

    Hi,

When i've run into this problem in the past it has been down to one of two things.

I either forgot to define the JDBC data sources in Weblogic, or I defined them but the names don't match up the the entries in the PCM Admin App.

    Regards

    Alex

    Hello,

I have a similar issue where I just upgraded CM14 to sp2 hf4. I went through the install in V34873-01_cm14sp2_base.  I updated my db’s for p15979166_14000_Generic_cm14sp2hf1 and p15979166_14000_Generic_cm14sp2hf4.  I updated the exponline.ear from sp2hf4 but when I try to start it I get this exception:

An error occurred during activation of changes, please see the log for details.

[HTTP:101216]Servlet: "StartupServlet" failed to preload on startup in Web application: "exponline". java.lang.NullPointerException at com.primavera.exponline.servlet.StartupServlet.init(Unknown Source) at weblogic.servlet.internal.StubSecurityHelper$ServletInitAction.run(StubSecurityHelper.java:283) at weblogic.security.acl.internal.AuthenticatedSubject.doAs(AuthenticatedSubject.java:321) at weblogic.security.service.SecurityManager.runAs(SecurityManager.java:120) at weblogic.servlet.internal.StubSecurityHelper.createServlet(StubSecurityHelper.java:64) at weblogic.servlet.internal.StubLifecycleHelper.createOneInstance(StubLifecycleHelper.java:58) at weblogic.servlet.internal.StubLifecycleHelper.<init>(StubLifecycleHelper.java:48) at weblogic.servlet.internal.ServletStubImpl.prepareServlet(ServletStubImpl.java:539) at weblogic.servlet.internal.WebAppServletContext.preloadServlet(WebAppServletContext.java:1985) at weblogic.servlet.internal.WebAppServletContext.loadServletsOnStartup(WebAppServletContext.java:1959) at weblogic.servlet.internal.WebAppServletContext.preloadResources(WebAppServletContext.java:1878) at weblogic.servlet.internal.WebAppServletContext.start(WebAppServletContext.java:3153) at weblogic.servlet.internal.WebAppModule.startContexts(WebAppModule.java:1508) at weblogic.servlet.internal.WebAppModule.start(WebAppModule.java:482) at ....

I think this may be because I tried to use the same cm domain as the original CM14.  Any help is greatly appreciated because I am currently down.

    Thank you.

I have the same problem with you.  Do you know the reason now? And How to solve this problem?

         Thank you.
