Really great error, but could either of you simply give us more context as to what you are doing. Just posting the error you get here doesn't make it easier for us to help and just starts up the guessing game with multiple posts back and forwards.
Besides the fact that there seems to be a hash-sign instead of a dot, we need some more to see what the cause could be.Is this an application export-import? Component? What apex version? What database version? More context, more info.
i'm having the same problem as well.. here's my context:
Apex 4.2.2.00.11 Oracle 11g
we're in the midst of upgrading from 4.0
we have an apex 4.0 runtime only instance in production.
each night, we restore the the oracle instance with 4.0 to another instance and run a script to upgrade to 4.2.2 full function (development plus runtime) on this restored instance,. it has about 20-some workspaces, each with one app.
on the restored instance, yesterday i created a new workspace, gave it access to a couple of schemas, defined a couple of users. i imported a couple of apps, themes, css, images, etc. from our current development instance, which is 4.0. after this import, i was able to do development stuff with the app just fine.
so i exported the workspace yesterday, in anticipation of importing it this morning after the nightly refresh.
refresh ran, i logged in this morning as the apex admin user, and try to import the workspace. and get the
Just to confirm what we're looking at...
If you look in the export file, can you:
- confirm the type of export being performed - somewhere near the top after the 'big' APEX you get something like:
-- -- Workspace, User Group, User, and Team Development Export: -- Date and Time: 10:03 Friday September 20, 2013 -- Exported By: ADMIN -- Export Type: Workspace Export -- Version: 4.2.1.00.08 -- Instance ID: 61820845775609
- see a line that looks like the 'wwv_flow_api#remove_restful_service' being reported? It should say something like:
wwv_flow_api.remove_restful_service ( p_id => 2138101149341711 + wwv_flow_api.g_id_offset ,p_name => 'ECMS Interface' );
- if you change this/these lines to as above and re-import, does the import work correctly?
- confirm whether you have defined restful interfaces?
- are using web services within your application?
there is indeed a restful service definition in the export file. however, it's in there correctly - with the period, rather than the #...
here's what's in the file;
p_id => 2146229288839154 + wwv_flow_api.g_id_offset
,p_name => 'oracle.example.hr'
the application in question w the restful services is one of the APEX sample apps.
to get around the immediate problem, i simply removed the sample app api definition stuff from the file.
but for someone who has a "real" restful app in their export, this might not be an option...
We had this same error (
when trying to import on APEX version 4.2.2 using the application ... We applied patch 16781538 to the instance where we were doing the import and were able to get things working.
