Hi all ,
I have a requirement to show revenue of top 10 companies in colors.
In case there are 50 companies the companies having top 10 revenue ,(those columns) should be shown in different colors.
I am not exactly sure how to continue in conditional formatting in this.. Pls help
use selection step to filter out top 10 companies,
In selection step use the condition format to filter top 10 companies,
then go to the selected column of companies names , column properties --> conditional format (4th tab) --> add condition --> select the companies ,
after selecting companies you wil get the edit custom properties for style ther u can give the colors.
Thnkas for ur response
I achieved the same using a new column giving TOPN (Measure_value,100) and sorting by it . Then I hid the column . I also gave a conditional format for the COMPANY column stating
when the TOPN (Measure_value) between 1 and 5 then GREEN color .
But I am not able to do sorting in pivot table .. Could u pls suggest me how to do the same .
