      Hi Experts,

What does this pl/sql query perform on the database.

LOCK TABLE FND_CONCURRENT_QUEUES IN EXCLUSIVE MODE NOWAIT

For almost 3 months we are getting performance issue in the morning for about 45min to 1 hr. In EM graph, commit graph is going beyond CPU limit.  Even login page is not loading....

We have raised SR but till now didn't got the appropriate solution

we have observed that this pl/sql query is started at the starting of the issue. This Issue can be seen in both production and latest clone of production. And in both instance, the above mentioned query is starting at the starting of this commit issue.

We are running oracle ebiz R12.1.2

      Oracle database 11.1.0.7

Please help us find out this solution..

      Thanks & Regards,

          Hi,

What does this pl/sql query perform on the database.

LOCK TABLE FND_CONCURRENT_QUEUES IN EXCLUSIVE MODE NOWAIT

          KeywordStatement / Keyword remarks
LOCK TABLE FND_CONCURRENT_QUEUES 'FND_CONCURRENT_QUEUES' table is explicitly locked
IN EXCLUSIVE MODEwill allow queries to be executed by the session that has execute this key words, but will not allow any other DML activities to be performed by other users
NOWAITlets you get control of the object even if the respective object is been locked by some other sessions/users.

Please check the DB, Application and apache log files for more information. I also suggest you to run an addm task to get analysis information and recommendation.
