    And Job status of export job:

    Estimate in progress using BLOCKS method...

    Processing object type DATABASE_EXPORT/SCHEMA/TABLE/TABLE_DATA

    Hi ,

    Only one dumpfile is created...Yes we have LOB segments and LOB indexes

    This is my syntax :

    expdp system/*****@***  directory=export parallel=8 COMPRESSION=ALL dumpfile=export_FULL_%U.dmp logfile=export_FULL.log JOB_NAME=export FULL=Y

    1 use the scheduler of database control (or the scheduler in the database) and putty doesn't bother you anymore

    2 or use 'nohup expdp  .... &' and putty doesn't bother you anymore

    3 or use (obsolete) cron

    Oracle is using an algorithm in expdp to determine the number of parallel jobs. Your situation may not qualify for more than 1 job.

    Hi Sybrand,

    Thanks for such a usefull replay ...

    Yes, i am agree as my export job is right now seems doing estimation of blocks. I also read that gathering statistics, data are always done by only ONE worker....

    This is the current status:

    ===================================================================

    Estimate in progress using BLOCKS method...

    Processing object type DATABASE_EXPORT/SCHEMA/TABLE/TABLE_DATA

    ===================================================================

    Thanks,
