I am having an issue with SSHR applicant Hire function in 11i:
N > Manager Self Service > Applicant Hire.
I am able to query the EE I am looking for as they have a status of verbal offer accepted/signed offer received and when I go through the pages and fill in the required fields to hire this EE works correctly. It is when I go and submit/approve this the changes to the HR record DOES NOT UPDATE. I log in as each person in the approval chain and when I get to the last person for final approval and hit "approve" nothing happens to the record and the applicant does not get "hired"
Is there a background process or something else that I am missing for this function to work properly?

I see that this is not working for your custom responsibility but works correctly with your seeded manager self service responsibility. I think this issue is a little bit different as I am able to view the applicant and there is no issue as I am able to pass through the approval chain, just when we come to the final approver the changes are not committed to the data base upon approving the changes.
Do you have any experience with this?
I am having the same issue when I have a security profile enabled on my custom menu similar to your security profile. I am able to hire directly but applicant hire produces the same error/issue. I will keep track of this and hopefully we can both receive a solution to this problem. Thank you for your help!
