I tried your suggestion
<?import:file:/// C:\SSR_TSRPT_STMPLT.rtf?> <?call-template: SSR_TSRPT_STMPLT?>
, but its rendering the following error: Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: \ C:\SSR_TSRPT_STMPLT.rtf (The specified path is invalid)
Do you know if there's an option or something related to configuration that I need to tweak so it recognizes that path as a valid directory since it is?
I think what you sent me pretty much got me through the initial error I was getting so thank you for that.
I am now getting another error: Caused by: oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XSLException: <Line 40, Column 65>: XML-22049: (Error) Template 'SSR_TSRPT_STMPLT' invoked but not defined.
Is this because of all the calls that say inline? <?call@inlines:Header?>
Thanks again for your help.
No, the error is not caused by use of "inline". What is the content within your subtemplate that you are trying to use?
<?import:file:///C:/SSR_TSRPT_STMPLT.rtf?> - this will import the subtemplate
If you have defined some header information like:
<?template:header?> this is the header<?end template?>
And you want to call this template, then use<?call@inlines:header?><?end call?>
If you have the following statement in your main RTF ( but this is not part of the content within the subtemplate, then remove this statement).
<?call-template: SSR_TSRPT_STMPLT?> -- error is because of this statement
