    How can I resize a filesystem in VM Linux 6.3 ????

      Hi all!

       

       

       

      I have this VM Oracle Virtual Sysadmin Days ( downloadded at  http://download.oracle.com/technetwork/community/developer-vm/OracleLinux63.ova)

       

       

       

      In the VM, I have this filesystens

       

       

       

      [oracle@oraclelinux6 ~]$ df -k

      Filesystem           1K-blocks      Used Available Use% Mounted on

      /dev/mapper/vg_oraclelinux6-lv_root

                             7897088   3570272   2888064  56% /

      tmpfs                  1027420       112   1027308   1% /dev/shm

      /dev/sda1               495844    100353    369891  22% /boot

      [oracle@oraclelinux6 ~]$

       

       

      I'd like to install Oracle 11g for tests.

       

      What is the easiest way for resize the filesystem /dev/mapper/vg_oraclelinux6-lv_root for have enought space for install Oracle DB (for exemple 40Gb of free space) ?
