I have EPM 18.104.22.168 and I am exporting and importing BSO cube from dev to uat environment. After importing and running calculations I see there is little difference in the "Number of existing blocks" and "Existing uper-level blocks" in the imported environment.
Others like "Existing level 0 blocks", " Block size" and "Potential number of blocks" are same.
Can you please let me know what could be the reason for the difference even though its the same data and the outline is the same.
You asked a very similar question a while back (I don't have that good a memory, but I searched for that thread to refer to in this one!): https://forums.oracle.com/message/10877200#10877200
My first guess would be 'all #Missing' upper-level blocks in one or other cube. You haven't said which one has more, incidentally. But if they reconcile, and a forced restructure in both environments brings the counts into alignment I doubt you have a problem.
No problem! That makes sense, then. The thing is that the export does not contain those all #Missing blocks (if it was an all-levels export). Or there are all #Missing upper-level blocks that were cleared at some point along with their input-level data and these didn't get recreated by the calculations. Either way, if your cubes reconcile I would not worry.
