Can you provide the steps that you performed so far?
Did you physically replace the bad disk and use the zpool replace command?
i tried to detach the disk c1t0d6 first first but it's not working
# zpool detach eniq_sp_1 c1t0d6
cannot detach : no valid replicas
then the second step :
1. shutdown the system
2. replace the disk on the storage
3. start the system (the zpool are mounted coreectly but Degraded) c1t0d6 unavailble
4. # zpool replace eniq_sp_1 c1t0d6
thank you for your response
Something else went wrong on this system and with this pool because the other device resilvered as well
and you have one corrupt file.
Next, try to clear the pool errors, like this:
# zpool clear eniq_sp_1
See if that clears the pool errors.
Next, you need to scrub the pool to make sure nothing else is amiss.
After the scrub completes, see if zpool status is clear. If not, you might need to remove the corrupted file.
thank you Cindy
but after doing( (zpool clear eniq_sp_1) --> then zpool start synchronization automatically
and (zpool scrub eniq_sp_1) display the same file error and the same state of the Zpool
Sorry, I don't know what you mean by zpool start synchronization...
Are you saying that the resilver of the failed disk starts again or all the disks resilver again?
yes, after clear the zpool, all the disks resilver again
and when we try to backup file systems,
this backup of the file eniq_sp_1/dwh_main_dbspace@VIRTUAL_BACKUP_SNAP:/dbspace_dir_1/main_41.iq
can't be terminated successfully
please tel me if the only solution is to destroy the Zpool
and recreate it and restore data
I think there are other solutions than destroying the pool, but if you wish, this is an option.
You might try removing the corrupted file with the rm command.
Another idea is to try detaching this disk if the other disk in the mirrored pair is stable.
