I can see from the certification document that EPMA requires odp for .NET 4. I have confirmed with oracle this is only when using oracle database as the repositories.
I can see from the documentation you install the ODAC client package which contains ODP for .NET 4. Then you create a schema with certain roles. Then you run the scripts against the schema to build the tables/procedures. Then you update the machine.config with this schema's credentials.
I just wanted to confirm that no additional steps were required before installing EPMA or if I missed anything?
any help is much appreciated.

Can you expand on the above, what scripts are you referring to and where did you read this information?
I usually just install the full Oracle client when using Oracle database and from 220.127.116.11 is automatically installed for the products that require it but anyway if you have met the requirements then you should be good to go.
Thanks for confirming that.
I have realised my mistake. I was confusing oracle providers for asp.net with odp.net.
I probably did the complete odac install with unnecessary components, like oracle providers for asp.net. when it asks you to run the sql scripts at the end it has nothing to do with odp.net!
