Hello team, we are planning to install Sun Cluster in a 2 Node environment (Active/Pasive). Then install Oracle Clusterware for single instance to use ASM as the volume manager for oracle database files that will be used by one database. Both, the ASM instance and the rdbms instance will be running together in only one node at a time (non-RAC). In the case of HW problems, both resources (along with others) will be move to the other node via Sun Cluster management.
The Oracle Version will be 188.8.131.52 and Solaris 10. This is a supported architecture? Does anybody see issues with this configuration? Any best practices to follow?
