It seems to be bypassing all service and filters. I am wanting to hook into UCM before the AutoVue Server retrieves the file to do Dynamic manipulation of the file. There are a lot of customizations available but it's difficult to figure out where this exact transaction is taking place and how to interact with it.
Can someone please help? Otherwise, AutoVue might not be the solution we are looking for. Any insight would be appreciated greatly. Thank you.
Okay, further examination reveals that we are using "database storage" and somehow the AutoVue server is able to directly query the Oracle UCM database to return the stream. This is great, but how would I intercept the stream before it get's sent to the AutoVue Server?
What exactly are you trying to do? Do you want to "swap" the original document with a watermarked one?
I am not familiar with the dynamic watermarking that you described above, could you please elaborate?
Would it be acceptable to load the original document and add a watermark as an AutoVue markup?
When you say that you're working on an AutoVue integration with Oracle UCM, are you creating your own from scratch, or are you using the pre-built Oracle VueLink for UCM? The latter is certainly the recommended approach.
Regarding the watermark, are you interested in a View-mode watermark (one that shows up on top of the drawing when viewing the drawing in AutoVue), or a Print watermark (one that shows up on top of the printed output)?
Essentially we are wanting to provide the user with a "dynamic watermark" when they request the file. This can be a timestamp or have the usename embedded in the watermark. So, it won't be replacing the original document at all. Do you think this is even possible?
Please take a look at the viewing and config guide

and see if that is what you are looking
