You can't have primary and secondary apps tier nodes running on the same server. So, you can have:
Run Rapid Install on Node1 to install the database then on Node2 to install the apps tier node (don't check the Primary Apps tier node button).
Sorry for the delayed response Hussein, I was out for a bit there.
Hmmm, forget what exactly I did now to make it work but I do seem to have a running Vision setup all on one server...
I guess I'll play around with what I have to get familiar with it to some extent and then try the setup as you're suggesting by running the app tier install on Node2.
fyi on what I see all on the same server (not sure if this is useful at all - just sharing):
[root@ ~]# psgrep pmon
oracle 29913 1 0 Oct31 ? 00:00:22 ora_pmon_VIS
[root@ ~]# psgrep fndlibr

applmgr 21414 21259 0 Oct31 ? 00:00:06 FNDLIBR
applmgr 21421 21259 0 Oct31 ? 00:00:05 FNDLIBR
applmgr 21426 21259 0 Oct31 ? 00:00:06 FNDLIBR
applmgr 21428 21259 0 Oct31 ? 00:00:03 FNDLIBR
- on /u10 I put data and apps (as I think I didn't have enough space on /app)

Yah I don't know what I was thinking yesterday. I guess the 3 day gap between when I ran the install made me forget what I selected. I had started trying to install the app tier on /app but it didn't find enough space so I installed in on the same mount point as I had for data. So I installed it all on a single node, big woop I know but at least I got a successful install.
Now I will shutdown, delete it and re-install doing the DB install on Node 1 and the App Tier install on Node 2 and see how that goes.
Thanks for your help once again Hussein, I'm gonna close this post.
