How did you create standby database control file???
I created the standby controlfile using the below statement.
alter database create standby controlfile as '/u01/control_std01.ctl';
the location will be shown of primary as you have restored controlfile from primary, so after restoring the controlfile you need to rename all the file. So that controlfile should know the knew location or you can use db_file_name_convert parameter in your parameter file if all files are in same location.
I tried to rename the datafiles in standby database after restoring it throws the below error
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01511: error in renaming log/data files
ORA-01275: Operation RENAME is not allowed if standby file management is
Also in my pfile i have mentioned the below parameters
you need to specify full location
and for renaming the datafile your standby_file_management parameter should be set to MANUAL.
You must change STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT to MANUAL;
Before rename file.
ALTER SYSTEM SET STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT = MANUAL;

You not need rename manually.
You must set DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT parameter correctly.
Thanks. It works fine now after setting this parameter.
