Anyone please let me know how to run the cmd prompt from oracle sql developer as like HOST command in sql plus.
You can use the same HOST command. Use F5 (Run Script) to execute it. And this is a SQL and PL/SQL forum. There is a seperate SQL Developer (Not for general SQL/PLSQL questions) forum.
Thanks for your reply.
But when i run that HOST command by pressing F5 , the cmd prompt dint open and nothing happened as in sql plus.
No clue then. It works for me. May be post it in the SQL Developer forum. Your chances of getting better answer are there.
If you run that HOST by pressing F5 direclty it wont open the command prompt.
You have to use the DOS commands with HOST in sql developer.
Ex: HOST MD testdir
will create a dir in sqldeveloper bin folder.
Am running the report from cmd prompt using the below script..
C:\orant\BIN>C:\orant\BIN\RWRUN60.EXE module=R:\sample.rep userid=scott/tiger@orcl PARAMFORM=NO P_ACTIVITY=A P_SUMMARY=Y
How should i pass this script from oracle sql developer to cmd prompt.?
