I followed this doc, when creating the standby database (using manual option) > Data Guard Physical Standby Setup in Oracle Database 11g Release 2
I got error at this step:
Restore the backup files.
$ rman target=/
RMAN> STARTUP MOUNT;
RMAN> RESTORE DATABASE;
Starting restore at 06-NOV-13
using target database control file instead of recovery catalog

RMAN-06023: no backup or copy of datafile 3 found to restore
RMAN-06023: no backup or copy of datafile 2 found to restore
RMAN-06023: no backup or copy of datafile 1 found to restore
Ho do I troubleshoot this error?
If your backups are not held within the FRA, you must make sure you copy them to the standby server and make them available from the same path as used on the primary server.
Because he is copied backups to cataloged location FRA, and FRA is same ib both side.
You can create same location of FRA on standby database same primary and copy backup files to same location of primary on standby.
