We have a requirement,
If any of the services of OBIEE 11g stopped, we need to sent mail to support team, so that manually start the services or they can find out what was the issue.
So, is it possible to sent mail while any of the services get stopped.
You might need to go for custom OS script for this like batch or shell script to check the service up and send email something like using rmail etc.
There are some 3rd party tools to check service status.
